These are just a sample of the original storyboards created by Greg for the Orca Scene from “Happy Feet”.
Greg retrieved these from a waste paper bin at Animal Logic but is missing a few sheets of drawings and many in-between frames.
Before Greg’s joining the production, the scene had no outline in the script other than “the penguins encounter Orcas and Lovelace looses his tallisman” (6pack plastic)
Greg proposed the action based on real orca behaviours and storyboarded the whole sequence, bouncing ideas around with director George Miller, then developed it further in  previz .
